Robin Williams

Robin Williams, the manic comic who morphed from TV’s Mork from Ork to the neurotic father in “Mrs. Doubtfire,” evolving into an Oscar-winning actor, died on Monday at his home in Tiburon, Calif. He was 63. The cause was suicide, law enforcement officials said. Mr. Williams’s kinetic energy, lightning-fast improvisational skills and comedic versatility made him a singular presence on the entertainment scene.
