Napoleon Beazley

Mildred "Millie" Jeffrey, a lifelong campaigner for civil rights, women's rights and workers' rights in the US, has died aged 93. She was a role model and mentor for many women in politics, including Hillary Clinton. Jeffrey worked for the United Auto Workers (UAW) for 28 years, becoming the first woman to head a department there. She was also a director of the National Organisation for Women.
