James Joyce

James Joyce, author of "Ulysses," "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man," "Finnegans Wake," and other works that were a profound influence in the literature of the twentieth century, died at 2:15 o'clock this morning at the Schwesternhaus von Rotenkreuz here. His death was caused by a perforated duodenal ulcer. Mr. Joyce was 58 years old.
