Dimebag Darrell

"Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, the thirty-eight-year-old guitarist for the heavy metal bands Pantera and Damageplan, was killed in a Columbus, Ohio, nightclub, when a gunman charged the stage during a Damageplan concert and began firing at the band and the crowd. Abbott was shot multiple times at close range and was pronounced dead at the scene.
