Chopin

Frederic Chopin, the Polish composer and pianist, died in Paris in 1849 aged just 39. His death mask, along with a cast of his left hand and other relics, are among the most cherished possessions of the Chopin Society in Warsaw. They are poignant reminders of a man whose exquisite compositions, full of delicate beauty and melancholic depth, have entranced generations of music lovers.
